conspiracies or what? ...

If, like me, you're somewhat sceptical of alleged conspiracies and dismissive of typical "conspiracy theorists", then before completely ignoring them on little more than your own pre-conceived opinions and biases, surely in the name of objectivity and fairness you owe it to yourself to become acquainted with some examples of the genre.

Thus herewith I present a selection of links to online documents, videos and suchlike. For various reasons, not least of which are copyright considerations, I'm linking to the offsite originals rather than reproducing them here.
However, that said, given that online materials (particularly of this nature) seem to possess the rather curious characteristic of being withdrawn for no apparent reason, I'll freely admit that this site has archived a copy in the quite extensive offline TaW repository of each of the files linked to.

Conspiracy of Silence

In 1993 a team from Yorkshire Television came to Omaha, Nebraska to document, investigate, and un-cover the mysteries surrounding the Franklin case and the ensuing cover-up. What the team would find through the course of their near year long investigation would ultimately reach to the White House itself, where they found that then Vice-President George H.W. Bush had been implicated in the crimes surrounding the case.
The explosive documentary was scheduled to air in 1994 on the Discovery Channel. At the last minute to program was pulled from the airwaves, and to this day has never made to television screens. See the documentary certain interests didn't want you to see.

Ludicrous Diversion - 7/7 London Bombings Documentary

I ended up taking a bus that subsequently was blown apart by a bomb. Inevitably conspiracies frequently appear to be intimately tied into State-sponsored secret projects conducted by intelligence agencies ("covert ops"). That these covert ops often run counter to what many accept as fundamental human rights (to say nothing of the Rule of Law) requires us to ask "whose interests are really being served by such activities?".
